User accounts are administered by Wikia (and a username that works on Urban Terror Wiki will work on any other Wikia site). However, an account's access to edit Urban Terror Wiki may be blocked if its name violates Urban Terror Wiki policy.
Harassment and discriminatory names[]
User names should not have any racial or ethnic connotations. They should not be defamatory towards any person, specifically any religious or ethnic group, or against any gender, sexual orientation, race, or creed.
Vulgarity[]
We play a game about shooting eachother in the face with guns, so it's expected that names may be vulgar, but please be reasonable. Names deemed inappropriate may result in action on a case-by-case basis. It's still a Wikia account and you might want to use it on other wikis that have stricter policies.
Names referring to illegal activities are likewise discouraged and may break Wikia's terms of use. As such, names referring to drugs or other controlled substances can fall under this category. Again, be reasonable.
Impersonation, multiple names, or trademarks[]
Impersonation of a Wikia employee, FrozenSand member, or another Urban Terror Wiki user is forbidden. Sock puppetry (or creating/using multiple accounts for deceptive purposes) is also not allowed, though you may make multiple accounts for legitimate purposes (such as a permitted bot account).
Using registered trademarks in names is discouraged, but you may, at your own risk.
Advertisements[]
Names which advertise a brand (or otherwise promote a certain product) are against policy. If there are indications the account in question is intended for use in spamming, it will be blocked, and any further accounts will be blocked from editing.
Enforcement[]
Unless otherwise indicated, violations will result in the account being blocked from editing indefinitely, but the user can make another account to continue editing under a username which abides by policy.
